we back boyz
hi
I mean, being that GTA 6 is supposed to be Vice City, both GTA Vice City and Vice City Stories were islands. On top of that, I think it worked perfectly being islands. I was born and raised in Miami, and although in real life it's connected to the main land, Rockstar did the great job capturing Miami as an island. I honestly wouldn't change it. However, I wouldn't be opposed to it being on main land
I don't understand the argument for a mainland map. In terms of the viability of so many game mechanics it would hinder the player experience. What if you're in an aircraft or especially a BOAT. Just think through that player experience. A lot of people not thinking clearly in this thread lol people complaining "please no more island maps" but IMO this is crucial to creating a map with near endless replayability. V features some of the best map design in any game. You can travel around the island clockwise, counter, up and to left, up and to right, down and to left, down to right, and every which way in between. One of my favorite components of the map in V is the freedom to drive forever without any worries. I am really struggling to understand how a mainland map would in any way make this game better, in terms of both storytelling and longevity for online
Never played on a landlocked R* map so not sure how much immersion this breaks? It would be interesting... island maps come off like the map eventually reachs a limit in a way
According to an industry insider, Jason Schreier, Grand Theft Auto 6 is set to introduce a dynamic map, addressing a key concern among GTA 5 fans. Unlike previous installments, including the unchanged Los Santos, GTA 6’s map will evolve and expand. This exciting departure will offer players new and refreshing experiences in the highly anticipated game.
18 people here with me looking how people are fighting with each other for: Whether there will be an island map in GTA6 or not Lovely 🥰
I like the idea of not making it an island and having kill states for when you reach the map limit, like what they do with sharks in gta v.
I've never had a problem with the maps being islands.
Gta games have planes and helicopter.. every gave after 3 had island cities so players can fly freelyin any direction.. as for red dead you cant fly with a horse.. so they used mountain to block players
Wow. Map looks massive
"GTA VI Trailer, do you know why you're here?" "Bad Luck I Guess..."
The city looks absolutely humongous and alive. I'm so fucking hyped.
Omg this looks amazing , they've really captured Floridians
The alligator breaking into the convenience store PEAK GAMEPLAY
They actually said fuck it, it leaked early so might as well upload it 😭
Loving the parallel with the GTA V trailer in the first line. GTA V: “Why Did I Move Here?” GTA VI: “Do You Know Why You’re Here?”
